Hi everyone,

I really need advice from anyone who has experience with US visa stamping after a criminal record.
In 2025, I was convicted of a Class A misdemeanor (criminal trespassing). It was a misunderstanding/mistake situation and I did not actually intend to trespass, but I was still convicted and it is now on my record.
I was working in the US on H-1B and then got laid off. My H-1B extension was pending but I cannot change status inside the US now. My immigration lawyer suggested I go to India and apply for an H-4 visa stamping there.

I am very scared because of the misdemeanor conviction on my record.

My questions:

When filling DS-160, should I declare the conviction?
Has anyone gotten H4 or H1B visa approved after a misdemeanor like trespassing?

If anyone has gone through something similar, especially with H1B/H4 stamping after a misdemeanor, please share your experience.

Hello! I am writing to ask more information regarding wheter can a previous hospitalization (panic attack) from 3 years ago affect my chances of inadmission in the medical exam for the k1 visa. I am currently under antipsychotics, mood stabilizers and antidepressives. No symptoms at all, stable. I will ask my doctor to write a letter explaining that I pose no harm to anyone. I am also thinking in asking her to remove my meds, as I don't have symptoms anymore, so I can be 12 months stable with no meds until the medical exam. I don't drink nor use drugs. My embassy is the one in Argentina, if that matters. Does anyone has had similar treatment and went to the medical exam? How did it go? Thanks

My son lives with my ex in another state i dont claim him on taxes I pay child support.should i count him as part of household on the i-864 form?

So we have an AOS interview in a few weeks, and my wife does not speak English fluently.
The letter stating "If you don't speak fluent English, you should bring an interpreter to the interview."

I do speak English Fluently but my wife does not - She is more intermediate.

Do I have to hire an interpreter, or will I be enough since I will attend the interview with her?

We had our interview today for lifting of conditions as well as citizenship for my husband. Interviewer mentioned there are limited ceremonies lately ugh! Any ideas how long ceremonies are taking to get scheduled in Irving Dallas after one s interview? Husbands status updated and it shows oath ceremony to be scheduled we ve got an international trip planned end of April for our babies first bday (non refundable) so a bit nervous on timing! I had previously heard oath ceremonies took place 2-3 weeks after the interview and then we could expedite passport aghhh!
