I am writing this query in behalf of my aunt who petitioned her married son last 2016 and now a divorce.

Her question is, how can she change the status of the petition from F3(married son/daughter of USC) to F1(unmarried son/daughter of USC)?

Her case is pending at USCIS California Service Center. She mailed her son dvorcee decree, receipt number, and explaining letter 3 times over pass 2 yrs, but still waiting a response from USCIS?

Are there anyway can she do to speed up the case?

Any changes to this process recently or what to expect before or after the interview?

I'm specifically interested in K1 interview stats, but interested in any recently experiences interviewing in Poland.

The general advice was to apply for the schengen visa to somewhere like Italy and then buy separate tickets to Italy and Poland. (Though it was never clear to me whether the tickets could be bought at the same time.)

I ll be traveling to the U.S. on my immigrant visa for the first time, but because of work and study commitments I can t relocate permanently yet. My plan is to go for about 3 weeks in mid-November, file the reentry permit, and return once I receive the confirmation of application received.

If USCIS later schedules biometrics, I can travel back again for that appointment. I already had biometrics taken at the Embassy during my visa interview two months ago, so I m not sure if they ll require me again.

Is this the correct process? And would 3 weeks of leave be sufficient for the initial filing?

not sure if this is against the rules but found this post the other day. user had submitted june of 2024 and completed their visa in a year using the k3 method. May not be valid any longer but thought i'd share my finding to the community.

I will be filing my n-400 soon and was wondering what documents do i need to upload. I have travelled here and there but nothing more than 2-3 weeks outside usa so no issues on the travel aspect

1) copy of green card

2) Speeding ticket i got like 10 years ago. it was a Court Dismissal as the officer did not remember why he wrote the ticket. I will be uploading the ticket and Court dismissal document

Do i need to submit Tax Transcripts for 5 year rule filing ?
