:thumbs::dance: Verbal approval on my interview date November 13th which was also my 44th Birthday. My husband gave me a beautiful white gold teardrop pendant necklace with a diamond in the middle. It is now not only my birthday present but will always be a reminder of the day my U.S. Visa was approved. I picked up my Visa today and gave my 2 weeks notice at work. After that I am going on a brief girls vacation with my best friends and then when I am back, Will and I will get me moved to the U.S. for mid-December.

Everyone at the Vancouver Consulate was very nice and it was ridiculously easy. I was nervous for no reason. There were only two of us there for our interviews.

I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you are all with your loves soon!......it will happen

mailed the package to me but would mail another that day to my new address.

10-11-2007 | received the original package that was mailed to my old address (forwarded by the post

office)

10-24-2007 l medical exam and faxed checklist to Consulate

10-25-2007 l interview date letter mailed to me by Consulate

10-29-2007 l email reply from Consulate advising they mailed the letter and my interview date is set for

my birthday, November 13, 2007

11-13-2007 l interview at 1:00 at Consulate. Verbal approval

11-14-2007 l picked up my visa....woohoooo

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

K-3 Approved in Jamaica (13 NOVEMBER 2007)

After one year of blood, sweat and tears- my husband has been approved. Feel free to read my review of the Embassy. Unfortunately, Jamaica does not give visas on the same day. It should arrive by no later than next week. :dance::dance::dance::dance:
