I think I'm super stressed...

I can't relax

We've been fighting off and on for about 2 weeks (almost every day!)

I feel like I need to crawl out of my skin!!

Help!!!!!!

:(

I just want to hug him!

and not talk!

it's been two months since I've seen him (I know there are couples who have to go way longer on here....) but I feel like I'm going crazy and want it all to end.

I want to move!!!

I want to be done with all this freaking paperwork!

No....I am no where near the interview phase as I don't even have my NOA2.

Don't worry about the fighting! many on this site have reported similar issues. It will blow over once you are together! The visa process is killer!! Lucky for you, you are near the finish line!!!

Sadly, though, the paperwork is not behind you yet - still AOS to look forward too, but at least you'll be together!!

ok.. so apparently all you out there are perfect with your SOs!!!!!

<sigh>

Nah, we're too busy fighting with them to reply :P. Dont stress too much about it. Once the interview is over it will pass. I drilled Ahmed for weeks on end because I was just convinced he was going to forget something. Atilla the Hun would have been more gentle, than I. Stress and separation always brings on the grumpies, dont fret too much. We've all been there :). Good luck on the interview!

We didn't fight every day but things were a little stressful in the time right before the visa interview. Our solution was mostly not to talk about the damned immigration process and instead focus on other things.

Wow, your timeline says that the interview is next week so why you guys are stressing each other. I would happy like a MF. Try to chill out and think about how to spoil your SO after this first step.

Good luck and best wishes!

That's pretty common, I think. I've read about it a lot on here.

We argued, but I think it was more about getting everything together. I was traveling over there for the interview. I wasn't flying into his hometown - as close as I could get (affordably) was Donegal, about 2 hours drive away. He kept saying he wasn't sure he could get his brother committed to picking me up. I finally had a blow-up over it and told him I wasn't coming all that way and NOT be sure!

We also were fussing about getting his house packed out. Turned out I spent a good deal of my visit over there helping him get that done (something I haven't let him forget) :P .

mmm not fighting, but I was very stressed out and cried a bunch out of stress. It's a huge milestone, so it's only natural I guess. I guess my only advice is to remember that you are both going through this together, and support each other as part of the same team. Best of luck at the interview!

Saludos,

Caro
