Please try to cut yourself some slack.. you are MOVING, you are saying GOODBYE's, you are doing PAPERWORK, you are getting MARRIED!! and you are trying to wrap up things back home.. all those things are VERY VERY stressful and it's totally normal to be stressing, and crying, and freaking out..

It's almost over my friend!!

eeesh. I'm getting stressed just reading that paragraph.

and Oliver moved into his new place on Saturday but didn't set up any services. No phone, no internet, tv.. nothing!

So I set up the first two online last night for him and finding a tv cable provider is being a pain

Verizon's website says they don't serve his area which makes no sense

So, I'm calling them now b/c he's working a double today (10 am to midnight)

and verizon freaking dropped my call just now while trying to transfer my call!

It seems to me that the closer one gets to their goal the higher the hurdles....it is all a test, metaphysically speaking, to see if that is truly where you want to be/go. So pass the test by not losing sight of the goal/end-result, and move forward. Then brace for another test. Life is just like that, especially when you live on the edge.

Which reminds me of one of my favourite expressions:

If you're not living on the edge, you are taking too much space.

I can only hope I helped and did not add to your frustration. :D

I know many people who do not like to live like this, but I like it when I'm going fast and my hair's on fire! Ha!!!

I actually have a T-shirt with that quote on it !

Oh, I think this is so normal for many people. We argued over silly things, and we knew why we were doing it, but that didn't stop the stress. Things are fine between us now. It helped us each to take some time alone to get out and walk or hit the cafe, blow off steam. The "arguments" didn't really need to get hashed out and resolved later because they weren't really arguments. They were just symptoms of stress for both of us. When the stress was much less, the meaningless spats vanished.

Forgive me, but I handled it the way I handle hormonal craziness. I know what's causing it. I know I'm going to feel lousy for a few days and I'm probably going to be a royal pain to the person closest to me. But I also know it will pass. So I try to take it easy, keep to myself to give him a break when possible, and wait for things to get normal. I know they will, even if I can't remember what "normal" feels like for a while.

Just hang on. You'll make it.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
