I'm not sure whether it's only throughout the state, but we've been getting those recorded automated "VOTE 4 MEEEEEEEE!" calls all day at the house, and it's driving me cruckingfazy. Seriously, I don't remember getting this level of political harassment back in Vancouver. :(

Because there's not a lot of swinging in Vancouver. Not to mention most Canadians don't care about politics.

So, what exactly does wife swapping party-goers have to do with politics?

Okay I am going to use this because I'm really having one of those days and need to vent. It is that time of year in Vancouver and the thought of having to spend another BLEAK, DARK and RAINY winter here alone is just killing me. I am trying to keep myself busy to pass the time until I get to move home with Zach but I am hitting a little freak out point I think. My job is boring the hell out of me and I would quit but it seems useless to do that and find a new job for just a couple months. I could move home to Ontario and stay with my parents for the winter but that might drive me crazy too and I'm just going to have to have to come back out here for my K3 interview in the spring anyway. He is in school and can't come and visit me and I have no more time off work and our $$ ain't that great anyway. I feel like this whole process is hindering our ability to plan ANYTHING and it seems like an open ended struggle. I know everyone else is frustrated too and now I can understand all the other rants I read. Just getting on the crowded bus to rainy Vancouver this morning and knowing I'll be riding that mo fo back home tonight in the dark to sit on my butt in my apartment and miss Zach AGAIN is really annoying me today.

Thanks for listening, I feel better. lol.

This is a great topic thread :)

So i'm in the office and there are 3 ladies standing by the photocopier and blocking the hallway. I'm trying (obviously) to go by and one lady looks at me with distain and intentionally turns and puts her back to me so I can't see what she is trying to say!!
