We had the interview earlier today and we got through. The interview lasted for about 5-6 mins. There was a lady C/O - asked standard set of questions (I will post details later). Fiancee was told that she will get visa in 1 week.

One of the things that fiancee told me was that the C/O has the entire set of papers - full file with her - all the papers with all evidences which I has initially submitted to USCIS 6 months ago. This was new to me - I was under the impression that only some forms etc are sent to the embassy. The C/O did ask some questions from the papers in the file - more like getting confirmation. So the VJ guides are absolutely correct when it says to send a complete duplicate of the file to the fiancee.

02/12/2011 - Received oath ceremony letter (dated 02/10/2011)

02/18/2011 - Received descheduled oath ceremony letter (dated 2/15/2011)

02/26/2011 - Received new oath ceremony letter

03/02/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p (IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!)

03/09/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p...FINALLY A CITIZEN!!!

I'm not surprised that the entire file was there. Wait until the AOS interview here. You will have a chance to see how large it has grown.

Congratulations. Your time line is about the same as mine, only two years later. Looks like you are going to have a great holiday season.

thank you all.

also want to add - the police certificate - fiancee was not specifically asked for the

english translation for the certification however, she had translated the certificate

herself and had taken that copy (no certification, no stamp etc) and handed over

that copy also. My sense is that atleast at this point in time, no one in embassy

cares out the "certified english translation" for the certificate.
