I still have the folder in my email of all the exchanges between Wes and I prior to his arrival in the US. I bet most everybody else (who has completed the visa stage of the journey) still does too.

I was just sitting here between tasks at work flipping through a couple of the old mails, and I was thinking I was really glad to still have these. Sure some are really 'corny' and romantic. But......I was earlier reading the OT thread about the couple who were divorcing after emailing each other (ala pina colada song) and I was thinking.....we have this written record of how we got together. As the years pass, we can always look at the mails, read them, and remind ourselves of the way we communicated, what we said to each other, and ....well, just all that mushy stuff. :blush:

Meaning....it never hurts to remember what made us fall in love.

I still have all of the emails that Larry sent me and although I haven't re-read them at this point in time, I know that in a few years time I will. Maybe they'll make me laugh, maybe they'll make me cry, maybe they'll make me cringe...doesn't matter. At the time they meant the world to me and for that reason alone I'll never delete them.

I'm soppy like that. Sometimes. ;)

Me too. I've got every email Dane and I ever sent each other, every letter, every card tied up nicely with a red ribbon and put into a box for safe keeping. All the teddy bears he ever gave me i have on display in our bedroom, soon their wont be enough room for him in it :blush:

He's a big romantic at heart and i love him to death :wub: even if he does drive me insane at times with his 100 huhs?? per day :lol:

I lost the majority of our emails :crying:

back when hotmail only had a small amount of space... I moved a bunch of my emails to a different account because my one account was getting full but then I forgot to access that account regularly and they closed it and i lost all my emails and then I forgot to access my other account and I lost all those emails :crying:

now of course hotmail has up to 5 GB of space :P

Even tough we initially met in person, our relationship blossomed through email. I have every one saved - I even sent the ones from my work email to my home email since they auto delete stuff here after 6 months. Over the summer we sat down and read a few one night. It was fun strolling down memory lane! I will never delete them!
