In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day this week, every liberal made the totally original point that anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis are walking in King's footsteps!  King protested—and they're protesting.  See?  Same thing.

 

In any liberal morality play, Democrats always get to be the shivering, oppressed black people, while Republicans have to play the part of Bull Connor, Birmingham, AL's racist commissioner of public safety.

Except the facts are exactly the opposite.  I'm sure you're bored of hearing this, but Connor was a Democrat, as were all the politicians promising "massive resistance" to racial integration.  Republicans were the ones forcing Democrats to abide by federal law, along with a few John Fetterman-style Democrats.

But the biggest fraud the media is trying to push on America is their total erasure of the most heroic actions ever taken by U.S. presidents: invoking the Insurrection Act and sending troops to the states to enforce federal law against protesting Democratic governors and individual citizens.  [...]

Reuters has a similar article, in it they believe it was related to someone's ex-husband that briefly lived there many years ago and haven't associated with since.

Why doesn’t the MSM look for the whole story and only insist on reporting one side?  Did you ask yourself why ICE was there in the first place?  Do you think they are only going door-to-door?  Could this guy be charged with aiding and abetting?  Maybe that is why he was taken in for questioning?

For example, the last time I checked Mr. Thao was at his house peacefully when ICE violated the 4th amendment by breaking down his door without a judicial warrant. Was he impeding?

Seems Mr. Thai may have been harboring some bad folks, but I am sure he was a standup guy.  I don’t believe a word of Ms, Ahmed, seems a regular grifter (remember BLM).  Immigration enforcement uses final deportation orders.  Are you suggesting that these should also go through regular federal courts?

Except that isn't true either. And the media sources I mentioned before did in fact look at this story. They investigated to see if a sex offender had lived in the house. They investigated to see where any allegation like this had come from. The best AP could come up with perhaps an ex-husband of a family member that had briefly stayed there but does not seem to be either of these men but may have known of them? Furthermore, one of these individuals they were supposedly searching for has been in jail and is still in jail for several years! Did they have a judicial warrant, or are we okay with 4th amendment violations? Are we okay with dragging an elderly man in his underwear out in the street and then dumping him back at the residence after causing destruction to the residence?

 

If you are okay with that, well that's you. I think that the government should be able to own up to their mistakes and do better.
