So, even at work here, if we have MSc or PhD persons apply, one of the first things we do before interviewing them is find their dissertation, pull it and have a look at the quality of the work.  When being interviewed, the person will be asked about their dissertation.  If they can't even answer basic questions about their research, they're out.  

 

So, why didn't anyone on the board think to look for this man's dissertation, irrespective of hiring some firm to vet him?  Wouldn't it be a red flag if you couldn't locate said dissertation?  The board still interviews potential supers to narrow the list.  Same goes with the one in PA.  Pleading ignorance just isn't good enough.  

 

Does anyone do any sort of due diligence anymore?  I do but I got told by my newest (clueless) boss that she thinks I'm negative because I ask for too much information when making decisions.  Weird how I don't want the fingers pointed if something gets screwed up or I'm responsible for someone screwing up under my watch!!!

Pretty obvious it was Politics, this is what they wanted, details did not matter.

 

The adjoing School District to me is amusing, the big news a couple of weeks ago was support staff unionising and demanding more pay. Pointed out there has been a massive increase is support staff compared to teachers over the years. And then amusingly ICE did a couple of raids and the following day a third of the Student population did not turn up to school. Pretty sure none of them are on a F1.

 

If they had been paying there would have been loads of money.

This guy could end up spending a LOT of time in the US before being deported.......a LOT of time in US prison.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I'd be tempted to deport him now to Eswatini, to keep company with that Khalid Abdul Muhammad-Garcia, or whatever his name is.
