Hunting you would most often need to lead your target but stationary and someone who has range time you would not even need anything special in the way of a scope.

 

if he know the distance he could have zeroed beforehand. Where I am 200 yds would be a normal range so most set it for that.

 

 

But he would have to have some experience and training.  

 

Also if he had that stuck down is his pant leg, would that have not messed his zero up?

Certainly I have no trousers big enough to put my rifle down them and no way was it a in a small backpack

 

Last I heard 150 yds so an afternoon practicing now actually pulling the trigger when aiming at someone you can clearly see.....

The limp was observed on the house camera of him walking toward the college... which is odd to me because supposedly he drove his fancy car there. You can see on the college cam that something might possibly be jammed all the way down his right pant leg. It looks like based on the mom's pages all of her boys were well trained in using all sorts of weapons from a very early age. Kind of a common trend with these types of shooters.

 

Also it kind of now sounds like his father wasn't entirely going to turn the son in. It was the pastor that did the right thing. 

 

There was also a friend that was supposedly asked by the shooter to get his gun for him. I guess that friend also wasn't interested in contacting the police...

I find it ironic that some of my FB friends, dont approve of all the respect, pomp and circumstance Charlie is getting , becuse among other things he disrespected George F. The Irony in that.

iron sights, a possibility.  a scope - not if it is put on well.
i still don't see this happening with a long gun (shotgun or rifle) as in all likelihood one could not bend their knee due to the length of the firearm.

Office Depot's Propaganda Ploy:  Two 'Slacktivist' Employees Canceled a Charlie Kirk Memorial Rally Order

 

Some members of a freedom-focused group ordered posters for a 'Charlie Kirk Memorial' rally tonight.  They ordered them through 'Office Depot' online, paid for them and planned to pick them up in four hours.  Seemed like a great plan until they got there and two employees told them their order was not fulfilled.  Did the machines break down, perhaps?  Were they too busy to get to the order?  Nope!  Neither of those things.  These employees just decided the posters were, wait for it, propaganda.  As a result, they didn't print the order.  [...]

Iowa county leader says it will defy governor's order to fly flags at half-staff

 

The chairman of the board of supervisors in Johnson County, Iowa, said the county will defy an order from state Gov. Kim Reynolds to fly flags at half-staff in memory of Kirk.

The chairman, Jon Green, said in a post on Facebook last night that Kirk did not encourage inclusivity.

"I condemn Kirk's killing, regardless of who pulled the trigger or why," Green stated.  "But I will not grant Johnson County honors to a man who made it his life's mission to denigrate so many of the constituents I have sworn an oath to protect, and who did so much to harm not only the marginalized, but also to degrade the fabric of our body politic."  [...]
