I didn’t see a thread for May 2024 filers yet.

 

I filed online today 05/05/2024. I immediately got my receipt notice and biometrics reuse notice (waiver) online. 


I’m in Chicago.

Good luck with your case! 

 

Did you choose your USCIS office solely based on your geographical location or were there some other factors you considered? 

 

I'm in a kind of tricky situation and trying to understand which USCIS office to send my case to: I've been a LPR for over 5 years, and my husband has qualifying employment abroad, so we both live in Qatar. I'm not sure which USCIS office to choose for my N-400 INA 319(b) processing, as I would need to get a new passport and return back to Qatar right after my naturalization. Trying to choose an office that is familiar with cases under section 319(b), that has a relatively fast processing times, that I can fly to to get my interview and same-day Oath ceremony, plus it has to be near a Passport office to get my passport right away. 😅

 

Any advice from any of the members of this community with similar experience would be greatly appreciated!

We also filed my wifes N400 yesterday online (under the 5 year rule) and immediately got the receipt notice and biometrics reuse notice. I believe her case will be processed in Milwaukee as that is where her I-751 was processed.

My husband has filled out the online form and tried to submit, but keeps getting error messages trying to make the payment. Anyone else un into this?

I've read about people having issues on  multiple forum, apparently there is some system maintenance going on. See here:

Same boat here! Final part of this journey that has been the most stressful thing I have ever done in my life 😅 This website has been a godsend from start to finish though.

Applied on 4th May, 3 year marriage 90 days early application, received confirmation and biometrics reuse immediately. I hope this goes faster than a recent greencard renewal for my daughter which took 2+ years 😬😅

Hello, we are likely filing this month.  I have gathered everything and filled out the form.  Did you guys send photos?  If so, how many?  

 

I am also concerned about filing and getting a biometrics appointment while we are away.  We are going on vacation for three weeks.  I doubt they would give us an appt so soon but my luck, they will!
