Hi everyone I would like to hear your thought on this.

my timeline:

▶️September 25, 2023 recieved NOA1 for I 130
▶️April 1, 2024  AOS package delivered to Chicago ( on cashed out, no text , no NOA)

My question is :

Should I cancel my I130 process in September last year and restart to AOS concurring file?
I saw people process so fast when they are filing AOS package altogther.

the waiting game start to be frustrated to me. I ve been married to USC for 15 years with 2 children. We lived outside USA together for the past 10years . However, my case should be the most straightforward case yet taking so long.

Thank you for your opinion

Assuming you are here in the US since you submitted an I485 package in early April, I am not sure that starting anything new is a benefit.  Was the I485 accepted, or rejected?

I am here in USA as a tourist visa. But I see so many people here submitted everything together and got processed so fast like a month or two. That's why I want to restart AOS process here in USA

I never heard anything back , check never cashed out, too.

I just think that because I submiitted I 130 and I485 separated that 's why my process is quite slow.

If I start over here in US, process will be faster. I ve seen a lot people got approved in a month or two. My case is pretty straightforward, too.

Since you just sent it in late March with arrival on April 1, I would give it a few more days before deciding to abandon the previous submitted petitions (I130/I485).  Did you pay the new or old fee?

Good Luck!

The superfast are outliers, you should expect the processing time to be somewhat longer than that.

Your timeline in your account is still incomplete. Please complete it.

Did you include a copy of the receipt for the I-130 with your AOS package?

What do you mean "restart"? I thought you had already sent the AOS package...

My postmarked date was March 29 , so I pad the old fee.

In that case all you can do is wait right now.  If you cancel the I130 I believe it could also cancel your AOS package since that package is based on the initial I130 (others may know better).

Good Luck!
