Yes ask to talk with a live agent.

Once connected, tell them I would like to have my online access code so that I can add case to my uscis account
My biometrics appointment was scheduled on x date and I need to check the appointment details.

When I tried, the agent didnt give me the access code, but only the appointment details but the access code came a few days later in the mail anyway

Is it actually necessary to have 6 copies of the passport photos? They’re charging me 16.99 for each set 😮‍💨

Why 6?

Only two passport photos (not even a set) needed as far as I know?

because in all the checklists it says “2 passport photos” for I-485, I-131, and I-765

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I did not duplicate evidence for each form when I did my AOS with a lawyer. Everything was sent as one packet and as far as I remember, only two photos were sent. Approved, but that was few years ago.

This is crazy most people seem to get their check/card cashed within 2-4 days of it being delivered. Guess I'll wait one more week before sending the whole package again.

I told them I needed to reschedule my bio due to husbands work

They didn't give me any hassle but can obv depend on how willing agent is to help. Many may say you have to wait

Hello all! Joining in on this too. Packet sent to Elgin lockbox via UPS 03/21. Recieved 03/25. I-797C recieved via text 03/29.

Spoke to an agent through Ask Emma and recieved no information regarding my biometrics appointment info or my online access code. It was honestly impressive how useless the agent was, as when I asked for my online access code I essentially got "you'll get it when you get it" as a response. I then asked about biometrics and received the automatic response of "thank you for contacting USCIS, have a great day!". Regardless, I am surprised by how quick I recieved the notification based on the varying experiences on here.

I got a feeling those agents have targets to serve X number of users per hour. They don't know much, don't have access to anything and want to spend as little time per person as they can. The phone line is similar, it is also known as "Misinformation hotline" by some.
