I had applied for a green card for my mother last year but due to some reasons she had to leave before the case was accepted. Had to cancel the green card applications and received confirmation of cancellation.  Would her original B2 visa be reinstated as it was originally valid for another 5 years or do I need to apply for a new B2 visa?

How long was she in the US?

you can try reinstate it but there is clear intent to AOS  and if granted she may be turned back to home by CBP

same with a new tourist visa/ it is fraud to plan AOS on tourist visa

u want her to live in US ,  if USC , apply for I 130
