OldUser is correct! I read different stories about USCIS inviting you for separate interviews regardless of whether you ask or not. But figured I would give it a shot! I added my case number and my request on a cover letter for the N400. And uploaded that digitally!

Ok thanks!

Congratulations! How do you request a combo interview? Isn't it something you have anyway when you have both forms pending at the same time? Is this a choice? What other options are there?

Hi. You can request a combo interview sending a letter explain that you have a pending I-751 and send it with your form N-400. If you fill it online, you can add the letter in additional supporting documents

So if you don't request how does that work? We already applied for the N400 without sending a letter about the pending I751 cause we figured they already know that, it's on file in their system and either schedule you for hoth together or remove conditions first and then schedule you for the citizenship interview later. I had no idea about a letter.

You can still write such letter and upload it as PDF.

There's multiple things that can happen:

1) You get interviewed for both I-751 and N-400

2) You can get I-751 approved prior to N-400 interview

3) You can get only N-400 interview and it will wait for I-751 approval which won't require interview

4) You'll get N-400 interview, and then will have I-751 interview on different date

Ok, we can try that just to at least remind them we still exist, cause we're almost past the estimated processing time for our field office, which I know doesn't mean much but still. Thanks!

Did you fill you N-400 online? If you did it, you can add the letter in unsolicited evidence in my uscis

We are also November 2023 filers with I-751 still pending. Haven’t filed the N-400 yet, to be honest didn’t even realize that we could do it with I-751 still pending up until recently. I am not sure if it makes sense to apply for N-400 at this point. I would appreciate if someone could provide some insight on this; is it lengthy application process requiring amount of evidence like we had to do with I-751? Thanks in advance.
