Hello,

Zain here from Pakistan, my sister who is US national, applied for my immigration from the US. I'm married and have 5 children (21 years older and younger). It's been 8-9 years since the waiting time going on.
Please guide me on how much time it usually takes to get to the US with the whole family as I've been in the waiting phase for a long time.

Yor guidance is appreciated!

Thank you!

Process cannot be sped up as others have mentioned. Taking around 17 years currently for Pakistanis.

Has take that sort of time for those who applied that many years ago.

Sadly the OP was applied for more recently.

Yes, she went after we applied. Her visa and process was different. My sister sponsored her because she was I'll over there.

USC mother can sponsor you. I got my Green Card through my USC mother. I-130 process to get started.

Yep, good insurance. You never know.

Well the OP should want to file it anyway. At my time we did the process through my USC mother and brother. Brother’s PD still not current.

However, my other brother became USC first for me to qualify and I did not apply (big mistake) as well as my then PR mother (another blunder). I could have gotten my PR couple years earlier. Oh well. Now, looking forward to applying for USC next month.

The current petition should come first by quite a margin, but absolutely file.

Yes, the OP should as many as possible if they qualify.  If you got 10 siblings that are USC then probably not all unless you really got that dough and don’t mind spending it.

They are unmarried now, that may not be the case is 10 plus years. With 5 children seems unlikely all will stay single.

I knew people who were sponsored by parents and stayed single into their 40s because they did not want to be ineligible for the GC...

My all children were below 21 years old, in fact, the elder son was 15 years old back then, when applied. Now, two children are just 21 and 23 years. Rest (3 children) are still below 21. ALL ARE UNMARRIED - Hope it's making sense to you.

1. Was the I-130 approved, or still pending?

2. Everything depends on the above question, even those who are currently under 21.

Didn't you get it under the LIFE act or something?
