Is it too late to file (K1) fiance visa if I'm just 1 or 2 weeks past the 2 year mark? We last met each other from Aug 25-aug 29, 2021.

I would seriously consider a spousal visa since you have to meet again.

 

Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation.

K-1 
  More expensive than CR-1
  Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork)
  Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 6-8 months) 
  Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 6-8 months) 
  Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period 
  Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed.
  A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also
  In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice 
  A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire
  K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years.
  Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises.

CR-1/IR-1
  Less expensive than K-1 
  No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required. 
  Spouse can immediately travel outside the US 
  Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival. 
  Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US 
  Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport.
  Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US.
  The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US.
  A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises.

Thank you so much for all the helpful information. We have talked about the spousal visa but I wanted to ease him into my family out of respect for them so they could have some time to meet him face to face before marriage and digest the reality of our relationship first. You are right, so many things came up and I couldn't visit as often as we planned so now we're here. I may consider spousal visa for this upcoming visit since time and money is very precious here.

Also, the 90 days is not a “trying out” period.   Part of the K-1 packet requires you to attest in writing to your good faith plan to marry each other within 90 days, so if you’re still not sure, that is not an appropriate use of the visa.

I wanted to include my son and family in the wedding in US. That is why I wanted to go the fiance route, so they don't feel like I'm married him before they got to meet him in person. Just to save some hard feelings and be fair since my family has always been there for me. I understand the fiance k1 visa is not a trial but I also understand there would at least be a little time (90 days) for family to get acquainted in person before marriage. This will be my 2nd marriage to an immigrant and I did it alone with no support the 1st time, and the marriage did not last. I just want things to go better and smoother this time around. Thank you for replying.

I strongly suggest you spend more time together before filing any type of petition.   If you petitioned your former husband and now plan to marry someone you haven't seen in over two years, you could have issues getting the visa, especially depending on which consulate.
