In any 24-hour period, anywhere from 30% to 65% of new accounts are like that one.  The Moderators go through to flag them.

As you can tell, these accounts have been on VJ for 2 to 13 years.  This sort of scammer clutters the site but usually doesn't spam it with messages.  Captain Ewok, our site administrator, can probably create a flagging program to catch members who have zero posts and a URL in the "About Me" section.  We'll ask him.

A lot of business accounts get axed. I periodically scan my "unread content" many times every day.  I see quite a few of business spam accounts.  Those threads normally get moved out of public view, then reported to the friendly moderators to evaluate.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

This would definitely be an easy thing for moderators and I recommend it! :) I'd also think including searching from Recent Status Update as I remember a few is found there too.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Could you see that a couple of them were already banned?  Curious.

If they were flagged or banned I don't see anything that indicate that on their account. In fact, I do see this weird one saying all account as new but I'd put it as a minor correction.

To see if they were already banned let me check my history and see if I can pull some up. So far I can still see them (valid link, nothing indicate account banned) including the ones I checked for Yesterday.

NOA as of 4/29/24 - Oath Ceremony scheduled for May 30th in Chattanooga, TN. Rescheduled as of May 2nd, 2024 by USCIS - new date is May 29th.
May 29th - Naturalized! Ta-da!

There are a LOT of accounts which are cleared of comments after being reported as spam accounts...but they remain active, it seems.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
