Yessssssss!

Nadiya got her card today :dance: :dance: This is so weird not having to worry about much for a while. She even has a job if she wants it. All the planets seemed to have aligned just right. I truly hope everyone else can feel this way. We filed in November of 2005 to start this long journey. Now we wait for our lifting of conditions interview. There are so many people here who are so helpful. Thank you so much

Well, after giving up my hopes since it's been 4 months since we filed our AOS, they transferred my case to CSC today. Isn't it too late for a transfer? Why in the world it took so long for them to do that? I'm not really complaining but I hope it's not going to be a long wait again due to that transfer.

And just 2 days before the 90-day mark, I received an RFE... so can't call them for another 90 days to ask for EAD.

In preparation for going to my biometrics appointment on Friday, I looked on the USCIS website to get the address for your local field office as I know they give directions on how to get there. However, the address that came up is completely different than the address for where my biometrics is scheduled. I'll just have to mapquest it, but I want to make sure this is normal that the biometrics is at an address that isn't even on the USCIS.gov website.

Try to call USCIS. Mine address was the same, in Oklahoma City (but i am from DORA process).

The biometrics appointment is at an ASC...Application Service Center, which is different than your local office, which is where you'll go for an interview.

Right now I am holding in my hand a shiny new Permanent Resident Card! I received it in the mail yesterday and my NOA has a date of October 24, 2007.

I have been so busy looking for work, getting my drivers license and settling into my new home and life with my wonderful husband. I am so thankful that I'm at the end of my journey for the time being. I wish everyone the very best and hope that you are all approved as quickly as I was fortunate enough to be. I was transferred to CSC and was not called for interview and I did not receive any RFE's.

Hey just an update... I recieved my EAD in the mail today.. it is marked valid from 10/25/07. Time to find a job!!

The biometrics appointment is at an ASC...Application Service Center, which is different than your local office, which is where you'll go for an interview.

Thank you. I just panicked when I realised it was a different address. The local office is a lot closer to where I live than the ASC, so wanted to make sure my husband didn't drive me all the way to somewhere else if it was the wrong address.

Right now I am holding in my hand a shiny new Permanent Resident Card! I received it in the mail yesterday and my NOA has a date of October 24, 2007.

I have been so busy looking for work, getting my drivers license and settling into my new home and life with my wonderful husband. I am so thankful that I'm at the end of my journey for the time being. I wish everyone the very best and hope that you are all approved as quickly as I was fortunate enough to be. I was transferred to CSC and was not called for interview and I did not receive any RFE's.
