Biometric Appointment in different scheduled USCIS APC

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I have a quick question regarding a biometric appointment. I am scheduled for appointment in Michigan, but due to some unexpected circumstances, I have now relocated to Orlando, Florida.

I was wondering if it would be possible for me to attend the Orlando Application Support Center (APC) with my existing appointment letter from Michigan. Has anyone been in a similar situation before? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights you can provide.

I have seen someone do this.  I'm sure it depends on the local ASC policy.

Just go there and hope for the best. Bring the letter. Hope u change ur address with USCIS btw

I did not change my address because my Attorney filed for me and the address is that of my attorney for all correspondence with USCIS though. But now I am scheduled in Michigan

No, no, no..  You must register YOUR mailing and physical address every time you move.....that is the LAW!!!  Your attorney should have known this.

The address in my initial I-131 filing is that of my Attorney because I have to depart US after the biometric

Irrelevant.  You must register YOUR address after a move. Your attorney should know this.... You can't use your attorney's address as YOUR address.

The law is that you have 10 days to register a new address.

U must change ur address AR-11 online. It doesn’t matter where is ur lawyer at, no matter what, ur address also listed on the form. Better go change it now. It’s very simple procedure

Thank you all for your valuable comments I really appreciate it. I have changed the address as advised. I sincerely hope that the Orlando APC will allow me to have my biometric done in their office. Thanks

From what I have learned they are pretty accommodating with the appointments.  I found out too late that my spouse could have gone to the biometrics appointment at any time after receiving the letter.  We actually canceled our vacation to go on the date the letter said.  Good luck.
