Submitting Evidence without RFE

Hello all - my wife and I submitted a concurrent I-130 and I-485 in September, and I was recently approved for work and received my EAD. On the USCIS website under the I-485, there is a courtesy notice for us to submit the medical report dated September. But the notice also says to not submit anything until we receive an RFE, or a notice for an interview as it may delay our case. I recently got the medical done and I have the sealed and certified envelope, but USCIS hasn't sent any additional notices.

There is the option online to upload unsolicited evidence. Would it be good to upload the copy of the medical report we received with maybe a cover sheet explaining I will send in the certified and sealed copy by mail? Or should I just wait to hear from them? What confused me initially is that I saw the courtesy notice regarding the need for the medical, but then once my EAD was approved, the online status changed to "USCIS is actively reviewing" and they said in another notice that we were good to go and nothing was needed at the time.

Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for your replies! I will not be uploading anything. Does this medical report lose validity after a period of time or since it was done after filing, is it good to go for whenever they request it?

At this moment it’s valid 2 years since the physician sign

I believe the medical notice is sealed. It should stay sealed until you hand it over. Save all other evidence for the interview. Sending more now will not do any good for your case. Good Luck

Thanks for replying everyone - I finally got the notice. I am sending the sealed envelope today with a copy of the notice and a cover letter. I am wondering why USCIS's website gives an option to respond online? Should I click on it? I'm hesitant to do so since I don't want something to happen where they think that's my actual response. Should I just leave it alone?

Follow the instructions you were given in the letter by USCIS. Do not submit or click anything electronically unless instructed to do so!

Hi all,

Well it's been several months now and the website shows no updates. The "due due" for this is June 4. I mailed the envelope certified and I track it a while ago and it had made it to the office where it needed to go. I can't get a hold of any live person at USCIS. I know they have a backlog and all but that due date makes me nervous. I'm hoping it's in a pile of paperwork that's waiting to be processed? Should I still just continue to wait? Thank you.
