Hello,

I submitted my I129F to the TX lockbox in May and received a CA acceptance 5/13/22.  Any idea when I might have an approval/etc?  I'm assuming April based on the timelines I have been seeing.

Thanks,

J

Processing times for K1’s are around 15,5 months at the moment.

Thanks!  I wasn't sure if I should go off of what the processing time was when I submitted or what it is currently.

Always go by current. It's what they're *currently* processing at, so whether it goes up or down in the future, it's still applicable to you.

If you add a timeline to your profile, VJ will automatically keep this up to date for you so you don't have to stalk USCIS and count ;)

Aw, well that is depressing!  I did that today so hopefully I'll be more informed going forward.  Thanks!

Yeah it's unfortunate, the 2021 filers saw theirs go up 6-8months+. The good news is it appears their processing may be approaching the point that we may start seeing a decrease in processing times. Awaiting results this week to see if trend is still going that way

If you haven't already, create yourself a MyUSCIS account.  The timelines on the USCIS Case Status processing times website don't necessarily match to what it will say in regards to your actual account (in my case, it says 17mo for my application type online, but my account says 10mo).  I know, rather annoying that they may not match!

Where do you see that?  I have an account already but under Your Cases I only see that the case was received and that they'll process it in accordance with what was shared in the letter they mailed.

Thanks,

Jason

I'm going to guess it's dependent on application type, which is very unfortunate.  I was hopeful it was an add on for all case types since USCIS has a lot of challenges with people contacting them and being able to manage the volumes of communication.

I keep getting called the pessimist on this forum, but I'm yet to be proven wrong :)

You already are. You said in August that processing will be around 18 months by now, it is easy to not be proven wrong if nobody fact checks you. 🤠
