That’s a topic of discussion between your lawyer and you.  Misdemeanors are crimes.

Well, I can't avoid it as it happened. Not sure why you would say I shouldn't apply for this because of it.

It would help everyone to know what was the traffic offense? Minor offenses like speeding (NOT reckless or criminal) are usually forgiven..

It was for a suspected DUI which was plead down to a wet reckless, I had another thread around how to complete that section.

No accident, no one else involved, stupid mistake.

I have to concur with @Mike E, DUI's are usually frowned upon and should consult a lawyer, just to be on safe side. Good Moral Character is what this goes under....

Arrest in 2013, probation 2014 through 2016, no other law enforcement interactions since.

Immigration lawyer advised that as it is over 5 years for all the impact is still there but lower. Getting good character letters from friends and family to support application.

Assuming you're filing online the system will tell you exactly what to include. I recently filed under the five year rule, included scans of front and back of GC, scan of marriage certificate, nothing else required. Went from filing to interview scheduled in 2.5 months.
