Processing time on USCIS says “your case is taking longer than expected to process”

So like the title says, this is what it’s saying on the USCIS website under “my account”, “processing time”. I understand this is still a WOP, however people usually report there is a number of months, even if off? Has anyone else seen this?

im also thinking of contacting my state representative. 1 year in almost, will it affect anything?

Nothing wrong here. Calm down

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Ours has said the same thing too. I think all these "estimated processing times" are meaningless. It's been 364 days since our NOA1 from the CSC, which has an "estimated time" of 10.5 months. They're jammed up.

I've spoken to one of my Senator's offices and they're well aware of the problem. Nothing really they can do until you reach the date where USCIS says you can contact them.

was your senator willing to send in an inquiry? I was thinking of contacting my state representative.

Quick rant, it’s amazing to me how they have the ability to hire thousands upon thousands of IRS agents to make sure we are taxed properly, but not near that amount of attention on something affects so many of us personally!

Yes, they said they would, but not at this stage. It was more about getting the State Department to designate a different embassy for Russians to interview at. They said they would send an inquiry on my behalf if I was trying to get the interview transferred.

I understand your frustration and agree the immigration system is badly broken.  With that in mind, the Government views taxes as their right, not a privilege.  Unfortunately, immigration is a privilege, not a right.

Hi, have you heard any news? Our PD is Dec 16 in Vermont and nothing yet.

We reached out to the congress representative 3 weeks ago and so far no answer from the office. At this stage I don't expect any response before January.
