We filed our I-130 and I-130a mid November 2022. NOA1 came a few days later with Nebraska Service Center stated in the bottom left. Asking Emma states that it's now Vermont with an estimate of 7 months. Guess we'll see...

How do you guys reveal via Emma where you have been transferred to? We could only extrapolate based on our two failed attempts at expedite requests, whose denials both came from Texas (we got our NOA1 from Potomac, so we must have been transferred some time in Feb/March without them telling us).

We also got our NOA1 on the 15th and no dice :( We tried to expedite via urgent humanitarian  needs and severe financial loss thru our congressional representatives and nothing :(

Have you noticed the processing time increasing? What’s happening?

My USCIS estimate was 7mo in May, it says 5 weeks now.

We’re assigned to VSC. It fluctuates a lot.

Where do you go to see the estimates of the remaining time? The “processing times” page in the USCIS website? Where I go it says 13.5 months for Texas Center 🥺

When you log into your myuscis account, you’ll see this info under process time. However, for ours, it stopped showing the estimate. It just says “taking longer than expected” and it’s been that way for over a month now. We were at 6 months remaining before this happened.

Anyone here not seeing their process timeline estimate? For over a month now, ours just says “it’s taking longer than expected”.

Same. It was 5 weeks, then 2 weeks then 1 week now:Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time.

Oh man. I knew the estimate could not be trusted, but it made us feel better seeing the wait time go down each month. Now there’s nothing.

Hi everyone!

My case was filed end of Novemeber and it also says that its taking longer than usual 🙃

I filed it online

Am I supposed to be assigned to a certain service center?

If so, when does that usually happen.

thank you!

Your case is assigned to a service center - when I'm not sure but it appears (at least in my case) to be closest to the US address you give on your application form.

To obtain the center I'm assigned to we logged into our USCIS portal and then asked for help from the chat bot - if you do it during working hours you can chat to a person who will give you that information.

Regarding the case being stuck in  “it’s taking longer than expected” mine is the same and I'm a text book case which is super straightforward. I imagine the Afghan refugee crisis has put a huge load on US immigration right now.

To check the case estimation for your servie center visit here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

You can also check the case status directly by filing a message within the USCIS portal (I haven't done this since my service center processing time is 13 months and I've yet to hit that).
