  1. That’s awesome! Congratulations to you and your spouse. Can you share with us your DQ date and which embassy?
  2. Hi All. I just want to share an update with you my fellow Nov 2022 filers. Our I-130 just got approved today, Sep 20, 2023. We filed on Nov 2, 2022. On our USCIS account's homepage, it said it was being actively reviewed as of Sep 23 and that the estimated time is still 2 months. But when I looked under the "Documents" tab, that's where I found the I-130 approval notice. It feels so good to finally get this news. I hope you guys get the good news soon too, if you haven't yet. Good luck to us all!
  3. Has anyone here had any movement? Our “myprogress” has been the same since June: “it’s taking longer than expected” and no estimate given.
  4. Oh man. I knew the estimate could not be trusted, but it made us feel better seeing the wait time go down each month. Now there’s nothing.
  5. When you log into your myuscis account, you’ll see this info under process time. However, for ours, it stopped showing the estimate. It just says “taking longer than expected” and it’s been that way for over a month now. We were at 6 months remaining before this happened.
  6. Anyone here not seeing their process timeline estimate? For over a month now, ours just says “it’s taking longer than expected”.
  7. Hello, it’s nice to see a group of Nov 2022 filers here! Thank you for creating this thread. We filed our I-130 on Nov 2, it has been 5 months now. We were originally at the Nebraska center, but an inquiry thru Emma revealed that we’ve been transferred to Texas. This whole ordeal really requires a lot of patience. I wish us all good luck!
  8. Hi. My husband, a US citizen, is looking to switch jobs. He’s currently a 911 operator. He’s had the job close to 6 months now, but the stress of the job is really getting too much. This is the current job listed on the I-130 application when we filed in Nov 2022. Now, if he changes jobs, do we need to submit anything to USCIS to note the change in employment? Will this have an impact whatsoever on the application? We’re probably overthinking it, but we figured it won’t hurt to ask around. Thanks in advance for your insight.
  9. I see. Thank you for this insight! Keeping our fingers crossed that that’s what happens to ours.
  10. Thanks. That's what we've read from other online sources too. My question is do these forms (I-130 and I-129F) always end up at the same service center? In our case, Nebraska Service Center "seems" like it has a faster timeline than Texas. But if our I-130 got transferred from Nebraska to Texas because our I-129F went to Texas, then our estimated timeline might change too.
  11. My husband and I filed I-130 for me and about 40 days later we filed I-129F for K3. The receipt we got for the I-130 said it’s at the Nebraska Service Center. Meanwhile, the receipt we got for the I-129F shows that it’s at the Texas Service Center (SRC are the first letters of the receipt #). My question now is this: does this mean that our filing is transferred from Nebraska to Texas? Are these two filings always processed at the same service center? I ask because according to USCIS website, different service centers have different process timelines and it seems Texas is one of the slowest ones.
