Nothing yet. My husband and I are remaining hopeful the approval will happen soon! @Timmy Clark, are you a Nov 2022 filer too?

That’s good. It’s hard but gotta find ways. For us, it’s daily video calls and maximizing our time during weekends. I wish the best for us!

I have a question if you dont mind ,did your wife change her name on her passport to her married name or keep her maiden, we don't know if we should with everything still processing.
blank avatar Jevbr on 2023-10-06 said:
I updated my passport to my married name while waiting for the I-130 approval.

We finally got our noa 2 how is your petition going?
blank avatar Jevbr on 2023-11-17 said:
Congratulations, Timmy! You're one step closer. The NVC stage went pretty smooth for us, a lot faster than USCIS. After submitting all of our documents on Oct 19, we got an update that we're documentarily qualified on Oct 27. The wait now is for the embassy interview, it can be a while. We're trying to request expedite.
blank avatar Timmy Clark on 2023-11-17 said:
That was fast ,the expedite is a great idea
blank avatar Timmy Clark on 2023-11-27 said:
My wife was talk to a friend that got her interview last January and said that they usually do a mass expedite first of the year ,we got all of our paperwork turned back into nvc this past Friday
blank avatar Timmy Clark on 2024-02-04 said:
Did you get an expedite? We tried no luck they told us we would have to wait our turn
blank avatar Jevbr on 2024-02-06 said:
No. We requested twice, both were denied. I just sent a 3rd request recently, waiting to hear back

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
