Bringing pregnant girlfriend to the US

Hello,

My son impregnated his girlfriend in the Philippines during his stay there. She will deliver the baby sometime in February next year. Can my son file a k1 visa to his GF ? Can she take their baby with her to come to the US? How long is the k1 visa be approved?

Thank you!

K1 is one option, normally I would say 18 months but Manila is pretty backlogged, will the child be a USC through your son?

How old is your son?

That was also my question.

OP, is your son an adult?  If so, why is he not here asking the questions about bringing his family over?

Hello, yes he is a USC and an adult (28 yrs). Actually, he is works graveyard shift, and door dashing  at his extra time. He just ask me a favor to ask help here since I have more free time and I told him how Visa Journey had helped me before.

Thank you for all your response.

Yes, he can file for his fiance.  I assume they want to get married?  That is the main criteria for a K1.  It is not to bring girlfriends to the US.

As long as he is listed as the father on the baby's BC, the baby will be a USC and he will need to file a CRBA and get a US passport for him/her.
