Why "zero-down" mortgages are gaining ground

Yet another reason to become a person of color.  Wait... isn't white a color?

Quote

You can expect more banks to start offering mortgages that don't require some first-time buyers to save up a large down payment — part of an effort to close the racial and ethnic homeownership gap, which is a big piece of the racial wealth gap.

Driving the news: Bank of America's recently announced "zero down payment" loans for first-time homebuyers in predominately Black and Hispanic neighborhoods who meet certain income requirements.

RABBI, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

Two Jewish men knocked on Rabbi Levi's door.

"What can I do for you gentlemen?" he said, after he answered the door.

They explained to him that they had an argument and could not resolve it.  The Rabbi agreed to help them.

"What is the argument about?" he asked.

The first man said, "Black is a color!"

The second man said, "No!  It is not!"

The first man said, "It IS a color!"

The second man said, "Rabbi, is black a color?"

"Well, sure..." said the confused Rabbi.

The first man said to the second man, "See?  I told you.  And so is white!"

The second man said, "White is NOT a color!"

The first man asked, "Rabbi?"

The Rabbi said, "Well, yes... white is a color."

The first man said to the second, "See?  I told you, Moishe -- I sold you a color TV!"

1,000%

But if you tear down statues, burn books, and delete actual history, then you are not required to REPEAT it; instead, you get to EXPERIENCE it for the FIRST TIME!!!

All liberal colleges teach this.  Even the low-quality. high-budget ones in places like RI & NH that charge a LOT of money for not-much-education.  Perhaps it's time you went back to college, Mister.  Or Mrs.  Or...  now I am confused!!!

Isn't some programs with the same goal, what caused the 2008 melt down

I think that is one of the main points of this entire thread.  Though in reality (as with most things in life) color is irrelevant.  It's simply an excuse.
