Does anybody have same experience?

I have seen this only 2 or 3 times since I joined VJ.  However, I don't recall anyone ever coming back to tell us what happened.  Please update us on this thread.

It could be some minor issues they want to clear up or it could be some bigger issue. As long as you are sure that you don't have any big issues in your immigration or marital history and such, the interview should not be a big deal.

I applied K-1 for him in 2019 and he got rejected during interview regarding is B1/B2 got revoked. But he never over stayed or did something bad. He just went back and forth frequently between china, canada and usa. Because his son was still studying in Canada. I sent an email to USA embassy officer and tried to explain to them about all this. I think they might want to know what is really going on with B1/B2 visa revoke issue. Other than this, I don't see anything special. But I can't image USCIS wants to interview me just because of this

What was the specific reason Consulate denied the K-1? Try to copy the exact words/ section of law on the refusal letter and post.

What questions did they ask him at the K-1 interview about your relationship?

What evidence did you send w I-130 ?

What about your immigration history?

Are you a USC from birth or did you obtain your citizenship another way?

Have you ever petitioned anyone else?

ETA: I see you only married 2 years after K1 rejection. Why did it take you so long to get married AND did you maintain contact between 2019 and 2021? (I know Covid was an issue but that didn't early January in 2020 and borders only really closed March 2020).
