2 Months and Still No Green Card??

Hi All, 

 

My husband and I had our green card interview on June 16th, 2022 after adjusting status from K-1. The interview was a little odd... the guy didn't really ask us questions but just kind of chatted with us about the state that we live in. He didn't say we were approved or denied at the end and so I asked him, and he said "you were approved the day you got married and you should expect the green card in the mail in two weeks". Well it's now been two months and still no green card. The status on the website still says Interview Scheduled. It doesn't have a decision or acknowledge that the interview already happened. Should I be worried?

GC can take 120 days to be approved and produced.

Most IOs don't have the fiinal say and can only recommend approval.

you dont need to worry but just need to be patient.

i have 2 friends who has pending case after the interview. 

one = interview in November 2018. no news until recently in June 2022 he got RFE for medical because obviously his old medical is long expired. 

two = interview in april 2022, no news until now. 

the interview is smooth sailing and no red flag.

Hello, we are in the same situation. 70 days since our interview, where we were verbally approved by the officer. Any update?
