Hi All, I would like to know few information for Steps after Interview process & visa approval.

1. Can I enter USA border by land? ( I am at Toronto and Niagara is nearest land border)

2. Do my husband needs to with me while entering USA ?( He is in Florida,  I want to do by myself so he can avoid travel if not required)

3. Can I re-enter Canada same day ( I am Canadian permanent resident and would like to finish other tasks before final immigration)

Please share guidance and experiences.

Thanks in advance.

Hello.  Here are the answers to your questions (assuming it is a CR1 question and not an F-2A like in your profile).

1. Yes

2. No.  Unless things have drastically changed, many new CR-1 holders travel without their spouses.  I traveled without mine and it was not an issue.

3. Yes, keep in mind, once you cross and activate your CR-1 visa you cease to be a Canadian resident.

Good luck

There's a slim chance you could be denied entry to Canada, as your endorsed US Immigrant visa testifies you are no longer a resident of Canada.  Of course, they would have to actually notice this.

Not for a citizen, but you are not a citizen of Canada.  I said the chance was slim.  Why don't you wind up your affairs in Canada first?

Agreed. I should rethink for this.

I am thankful for your reply.
