My Parent’s B2 visa interview is scheduled at Kolkata India Location. When I booked the interview there was only one option ( Bengali -Local Language ). However, my parents are not Bengali speaking. Wondering if there will be any translator for Hindi ? Also, How to approach or arrange them? I had raised one query using online support (ustraveldocs) option. Got below response. "In response to your question, Schedule the appointment in English and Kindly request the visa officials on the interview day for your preferable language. Request you to login to your profile and proceed ahead." I would like to confirm availability of Hindi translator in advance so my parents feel confident. Any advice is appreciable.

Hi All, Would like to know how I as applicant will be informed once consulate send passport back? will we get any email notification or have to use https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv to check status on regular basis?

No I didn't. Is it needed?

@georgy2030 I had to wait for 24 hours to register at above site after getting IL. Had same type of issues.

@Ravinder kaur do you mind sharing few questions asked during interview?

Hi All, I would like to know few information for Steps after Interview process & visa approval. 1. Can I enter USA border by land? ( I am at Toronto and Niagara is nearest land border) 2. Do my husband needs to with me while entering USA ?( He is in Florida, I want to do by myself so he can avoid travel if not required) 3. Can I re-enter Canada same day ( I am Canadian permanent resident and would like to finish other tasks before final immigration) Please share guidance and experiences. Thanks in advance.

Hi @njshah, do we need to register and pay for courier service? I have used https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/iv/information/iv_services . listed couple locations of Canada post ( I selected near to my place in downtown Toronto).

Hi All, Today I had received email from NVC for CR1 interview. I am following instruction as mentioned in https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html. Facing issue while registering the online interview process at Sign Up | Official U.S. Department of State Visa Appointment Service | Canada | English (usvisa-info.com). has any one faced such issue in past? My Application status is showing as Do I need to wait for few more days to complete the process. Thanks in advance.

2 months. It is exactly aligned to NVC processing query timeline.

Hi @Blueeyes1989 no I haven't received IL yet. I was under F2A category till last week. This week it got upgraded to CR1 after my husband's naturalization. My DQ is Sep 2021. Hoping for get updates on IL soon. I have to move to new place in end of Aug so was looking for option for passport pick after interview.
