We have filed application for my family since August 2020 on NVC electronic site.

in April 2020 all documents were approved and we are documented qualified but unfortunately priority dates are stagnant

my son will turn 21 next September 2022, though his documents were filed and approved on April 2021.

will he loose his approved documents and we need to re apply for him? What should we do if he turn 21 before reaching priority date

thanks

When was i130 filed and approved? Not NVC case but i130 with uscis. That processing time and his age when the PD becomes current determines the cspa.

NVC approved our filed documents since April 2021, Daughter of American citizen, her husband and son. We completed our filing and got that all documents are complete and accepted.

unfortunatly since April 2021 we are waiting for the interview but priority date or cutoff date is not yet reached.

The grand son will turn 21 years by September 15th 2022.

will he be excluded from the interview though his documents were approved?

How long did it take for i130 to be approved. That will determine whether he can immigrate or not after he turns 21.

Presumably the petition was filed circa 2009 and you are waiting for the PD to be current.

When was the I 130 approved?

NVC approved our filed documents since April 2021,

This is not relevant. Forget NVC process. What is relevant is when was i130 filed with uscis and when was it approved? Only if you provide that then one can answer you.

You have been asking the same question again and again without providing any info being asked so nobody can help.

I can’t understand your reply, can you illustrate more and let me understand the abbreviations

DQ, OPs

You are the OP (original poster).  I moved your thread to this more appropriate forum since the topic is not an NVC issue.  As mentioned above, NVC process is not relevant since your case is already DQ (documentarily qualified).

So he gets about 18 months deducted from his actual age.
