Same. It was showing 4mths 2 days ago, current status is same as yours.

It was showing 2 weeks for me 2 days ago. The inconsistency is so frustrating. It’s already a long wait

This is my third week of "Longer than expected." The same status showed up earlier this year and then went to 2 months in April. I think our time will come between June and August. We are almost there. 😢

Sames here, had two weeks yesterday.

But this is what we could have expected.

I'm not in a hurry, so I don't really care. Most probably it'll happen somewhere in July.

Just ignore that tab completely for your own sanity.  There's no number on there that will be accurate to your case.

I got the same "longer than expected" yesterday. Super frustrating. Let's all try to hang in there, our time is coming around the corner.

Agreed. Ours is same as everyone “taking longer than expected”. We’re already on our 11th month of waiting and Tbh I’m just excited Approvals is closer that i dont mind waiting for 2 more mos 😅

  • 2 weeks later...

We're almost there! Soon celebrations are in order for the majority of us!

Are you all planning to move asap or do some people have different plans?

My wife and I are expecting our firstborn around December. We are anticipating to move mid May '24. Though, it is exciting to enter a stage where things are getting closer to the end.

Got my I-130 approval today!

Thanks to knowledge gained from other threads in VJ, I noticed my case status had changed its dates, so I checked and found our approval under the documents section.

Yay Congratulations!🎉

We got our I-130 approved today! Checked the documents tab and there it was. It took a little less than 11 months.

Congratulations!

Now onto the next journey with NVC! I hope that'll be smooth too.
