OMG my moms visa is issued!!!! I cannot believe I saw those words on CEAC site.  432 days after her interview, it’s been issued.    man I’m so happy and thankful for this.    on Tuesda

Well it has finally happened, pressing back on the law firm got a lawyer to talk to me and she was able to get the US attorney to lean on the consulate to send me--at long last!--the request for medic

Congrats @ice-qube... What kepts you going all those years??? Was it not a possibility to have the spouse come to Canada?

 

Anyone think, at what point do you think, F** it and maybe have the spouse immigrate to Canada???

We are definitely considering this. 
 

The thing that really sucks about this option is that we would have to get married to do it, which would mean completely abandoning our K-1.

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

@ice-qube Congrats buddy!!!  YOU MADE IT  - Get packing!!

You should get your tracking by tomorrow if you haven't gotten it already and passport by Monday/Tuesday!   

Really happy for you, it's been a long road indeed.

Wonder if they are starting to clear DS-5535s out at a faster rate - would also be interesting to see if the rate of issue was as high as it was Fall/winter 2021.  I guess we will never know...

Happened with me actually, issued, then refused for half a day and back to issued. Congrats!
