Online it is easier, you scan your documents with your phone. Once you send it , you will get your receipt instantly

Assuming there isn’t a new form on the day you file, yes.

do it online. usually for uscis i will choose paper filing, but n-400 online is super easy

upload. everything is upload. super easy.

Not many documents are needed for the N400.  Just a copy of the GC, and a copy of the marriage certificate.  Normally I would be all for online filing, but this is USCIS so YMMV.  If you do file online wait 3-4 days after your window opens, the USCIS system does funny things with dates.
