Yes.

I think what it mostly means is that they are going to spend more time on files that are NOT cristal clear legit, to be better at stopping fraud.

And therefor expedite the ones that are clearly legit. 

Let's hope it is the case.

Hi! I don't think so. Some started as K1 or fiance visa, went to AOS hence they have their biometrics reused unlike us who came in via CR1. But I believe after AOS they switch to CR1? Not really sure. But what I know is most that hace their biometrics reused have had them taken in when they did AOS. 😊

Whether you adjust in the US or come on visa, if marriage is under two years, the category is CR1

CR1 -- entered the US with a spouse visa

CR6 -- adjusted to LPR in the US

Not due to remove conditions until the summer but the theory that May filers onwards could be the first group to benefit from the risk-based approach does make sense. When USCIS issued that guidance in April 2022, they said it would be effective immediately but perhaps they meant any new cases from that point forward. Uscis has to do something about these long wait times eventually, ,so perhaps it's starting to kick in now.

It sucks for the people who have been waiting for 1/2 years but I guess the first-in-last-out approach would significantly reduce overall processing times on paper, which is what the agency needs to do to 'prove'  that it's reducing the backlog. 

I wouldn't be surprised if every 'straight-forward' case from spring 2022 onwards gets approval within 6-7 months, which should be a fair timeframe for everyone. Again, that sucks for those who have been in the queue longer but maybe it's too difficult to retroactively apply the risk-based approach to those applications that have been in the system for a long while. 

The problem is that it's difficult to identify this pattern as this isn't a very busy forum and people forget to update their timelines. Also, the people who post the most are going to be the ones waiting the longest as they are frustrated and rightfully so. I do wonder how many of the tens of thousands of May 2022 filers have been approved by now and we just don't know about it.
