I know nothing is normal when it comes to USCIS, but I see that most people applying around the same time as us and later(even this year have at least a status of active review or approved and we have no change or movement only case received.

How normal is this?

Every case is different and every reviewer is different.  Once you get outside of normal processing time, you can inquire......good luck.  This whole process is agony.

I know right! Vermont recently increased processing time to 12 to 16 months, so still a while till we can put in a case inquiry. Never imagined it would take this long. Thanks!

Hey file the K3. Maybe it will kick start the I-130 and make hem review it. Nothing to lose. It's free.

Thank you for your comments! Our lawyer sent in the K3, PD 3.11.

We uploaded unsolicited evidence a while back too.

Hopefully some movement soon! This is such a strange process

Is your case within the normal processing times of Vermont? If yes, then you just gotta wait. If not, then put an outside normal processing request at USCIS. In our case that didn't work so we had to file WOM to get our case move forward. Best of luck to you. Hopefully things will pan out in your favor.

Thank you. Yes, it is within normal processing time. What is WOM?

there's no harm of filing for inquiry once it's outside normal processing time. the first time i tried, the live agent on emma shot down my enquiry and said there's no point of doing that ( then why there's a button for that ?) and i need a valid reason ( uhmm ok?) so i tried again few weeks later because i dont like the way the agent's answers. this time i just filled up the enquiry form and not speak with any live agent. got response in 2 weeks that stated im in the interview line and if i dont get response in 6 weeks for the date, i can call uscis. let see how,
