My case number wasn't working at first. I created a different account under https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and it worked there. It is now working in both places as well as the app on my phone.

Just happened to see this post. Thank you.  It also worked out for me.  Yeah~ I can finally check my status online. I wonder why they have different website for case tracking. huh?

The reason I ask is that I was a K1 filler.  However, when we received our initial Green Card we were category CR1.  I had to fill out paperwork and request a replacement card for the correct category, which took year to be reissued the correct CF1 Green Card.  Long story short, there were several of K1 fillers in 2017 that were miscategorized as CR1 by USCIS.  Some of us had or categories corrected, others did not.

My CG was issued in 2017 as IR1 for 10 years while it was supposed to be CR1. I also filed to change it, took 8 months from filing to receiving.

Seems like the vast majority (if not all) who filed an i-130 (unlike the i-129f) end up at MSC right now. MSC is usually handling the interview preparations, so my guess is that most (if not all) who have their i-751s sent to MSC will have an interview.

Biometrics can happen at any point. It can take a week or a year or anything in between to get an appointment.

Thanks for the information. Have the vast majority here got MSC receipts?

Are you sure it's not a case by case basis that interviews are chosen?

For most other applicants that seemed to be the case, yes. But for those who arrived on a CR-1 spousal visa it seems like the majority end up with NBC and get the "ready to be schedule for an interview" status pretty early on now. I have yet to see anybody who got that status and wasn't interviewed.

I didn't file for the e-notification. When I enter my case# on the new uscis website it shows case is for I-751 petition to remove conditions on the green card and they have received my case also they will let me know if they need anything else. Did yours not show that?

Got my I797 NOA yesterday in the mail. Its MSC.

The petitioner and beneficiary fields both have my name. Is that how it's supposed to be?

That’s what mine has too. I believe it is correct. Because I signed the petitioner part of application (I’m the GC holder)

Yes, because it's you who benefit from this application (ie the beneficiary) and you're the one who files the petition (ie the petitioner).
