Literally here just wondering who were all of these people back in march and april that were being approved so fast... cus when I track it on the app it shows such a greater bunch not completed.

Most of them who are getting approved are people who live in Midwest or areas with low immigration. People from big cities are still in this endless wait , me from Fresno which has kinda a moderate wait time completed the biometrics in early December and waiting for the interview of N-400, I lost hope in I-751 approval and waiting to have it combined during N-400 interview.

Okay so something happened today!!!!  Ready to be Scheduled for an interview .. I know they are people that have been stuck on this for a year and more but I’m still excited that there was some movement

I heard back from my Senator and Ombudsman. Ombudsman said that they believe case is within processing time and cannot take any action.

 

USCIS reply to my Senator was the same, USCIS stated that the case processing times for all field offices is 18 to 39 months. So case is within the processing time.

I'm still waiting for a call back for my info pass. I'm on day 5. 

 

For those that had info pass, roughly when did they call you?

 

My case is still at ready to be scheduled. Almost feel like it's a waste of time doing the extension stamp if I'm already at this state.

I had to request a call back 4 times. Each time it varied how long it took them since the request to call back. Fastest was 3 days. Keep your phone with you even after office hours, I believe I once got a call at 8 PM.

Thank you. I keep my phone with me always normally. 

 

I think I might start filing for my citizenship at this point since it's been well past 3 years since I got my initial green card.

January 8th. No e-mail but my status has changed to interview scheduled. They are mailing a interview notice.

Thursday was supposed to be my day 7. I called yesterday and they said they were not sure why I didn't get a call and the lady over the phone said she would put an additional request as urgent. 30 minutes later, I get a call back from the 202 phone to schedule an appointment to get my passport stamped. I was trying to see if they could just do my interview instead but the lady on the phone said this had to be done first.

I just went to my infopass appointment at the Los Angeles field office. COVID measure is very poor! If you don't have to please do not go.

 

They didn't take anyone's temperature upon entry when machines were available at security checkpoint. On top of that, the agent asked me to pull my mask off so they can take a picture when they are verifying your fingerprints anyway.  I saw agents pull their masks off to talk to each other and drink water, etc.

 

I felt very uncomfortable the entire time I was there.

Hey all!

I hope you're all hanging in there. 

I just wanted to message to let you guys know about my experience travelling with an I-551 stamp back from Europe. I was asked for proof of status before being able to board my plane back to the states. The agent checking had no idea what an I-551 stamp was and had to ask for his supervisor talk to me. The supervisor asked for my expired green card, which I didn't have, as I was told during my infopass appointment that an expired greencard wasn't necessary to bring as it only proves an expired status... Only wasted 20 minutes figuring this out and was the last person to board the plane, after one customs agent was able to pull my file ( all applications since I first came to the USA). 

Upon arrival in Washington Dulles, I once again ran into small issues that turned out to be fine. The customs agent said that my I-551 stamp number wasn't recognized in his database, so I had to be taken into "secondary" immigration check. It thankfully wasn't too busy but I still waited about an hour for an agent to finally place a second "entry stamp" in my passport and ask me the basic questions about what was in my luggage.

 

Just wanted to share this experience in case one of you travels and it doesn't seem to go as planned. It'll be fine but just plan for extra time to be held up in airports!
