When official documents issued by the government are available in English, is there any need to provide the ones in the country's official language?

If for example you were born in Russia and the birth certificate did not include English on the actual form , you need to submit the original Russian b/c with translation…submitting only the version of the birth certificate  registered  in Jordan will get an RFE

Birth Certificates need to be from country of birth and will be in the “ country’s official language “, plus contain fields for English.

Usually, but some countries issue official birth certificates in English and some with BOTH English and the local language in the same document.  For example, India birth certificates alternate sentences in Hindi and English.  No translation needed.  A counter example is China, where only official Notarial Translations from the local government Notarial Offices are accepted.
