Hi everyone,

My husband and I applied for the I751 last November (2021). A few weeks after that, we had received a notification letter that the form I751 was received (December). The letter doesnt say much besides being a receipt and extending my temporary green card. Its been nearly 5 months now and we have not received any updates on the process. We are a little concerned because we don't want any letters they may send us to get lost in transition. At the same time, we can't even contact USCIS on the phone any more to address this situation. We are hoping that you guys can shed some light on this. Any information is greatly appreciated.

How long does it usually take for USCIS to get back to you on removing the conditions?

Thank you in advance!

Thats actually pretty normal. They’re taking 1-2 years to be processed.
If you want to talk to a live agent, you have to say “info pass” or technical difficulties. But don’t expect much from them because they are contractors who read the exact same info that you see when you check your case online.

We sent ours December 1st.  Our biometrics was waived, and our petition is at Nebraska.

We expect to wait two years or more.

USCIS processing times - > pick your service center and see the current date

"If your receipt date is before the “Receipt date for a case inquiry", you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online."

That is notmal, a cousin of mine sent his application on april 2020 and he is waiting, next april 8 it will be 2 years waiting and nothing yet. I sent mine on april 27 , 2021 next april 1 year waiting. As you can apply for citezendhip 90 days before 3 years as resident, my windows for Citizenship open on april 25 so i will apply while roc pending.

so best thing you can do on the waiting time , it is start learning the 100 question for citizenship, so when the time arrive you will be able to know all question and be ready for citizenship interview.
