I thought the same thing when someone after us got approved. Give it a day or two and check the documents tab.

They don't send me an email or case status not changed to we just got the aproval notice in the document tab

Quick question, I filed I130 petition for my wife on August, 2022; and I know that I am still far away from the approval!! But what I have seen from your post is that your cases gets approved without having an interview with the USCIS officer, right? And if so, how come??

It depends on your case details. If you are doing AOS and been married longer than 2 years and have children they probably waive the interview. 

 

If you're doing consular processing there is no skipping the interview. It just comes at nvc stage not USCIS stage.

Based on my understanding, filing a form I130 for a spouse requires two interview. First interview is when the case is at the USCIS stage and that interview is for the petitioner. And the second interview is for the beneficiary and it’s when the case proceeds through the NVC stage and go to the US embassy. Right or wrong? 
 

I am doing AOS and my marriage is less than 2 years and we don’t have any kids yet!

I don't know about AOS but with consular processing there is only one interview, which happens at the end of the process at the consulate (after the NVC stage).

That is not correct at all.  It would be extremely rare for a petitioner to be interviewed at any stage of the immigrant visa process.   I think you need to study the process.

Immigrant interviews are scheduled by NVC, but are conducted at the consulate stage.  The Consulate is the sole authority for visa approvals.

I was under the impression that the AOS interviews have to be both petitioner and beneficiary together at nvc stage, and if waived neither have an interview, but that's reading other posts, not first hand knowledge. I'm sure someone else can comment on that. 

 

There is no interview for petitioner if consular processing. Only beneficiary.

There is no interview for petitioner if consular processing. Only beneficiary. 

If it is consular processing the petitioner does not need to be present for the beneficiary interview but it is recommended 100%. 
they were talking about waving interviews for first family members (I’m assuming spouses and kids) but a final decision won’t be made until 4/23 this year. Will try to find the link and share it in this thread.
