california service center Case transferred from Potomac to California

My case has recently been transferred from Potomac to California , PD Oct 2021, CR1. Should I be sad about it?

i always thought being transferred mean the second service center has less load ? my case has been in potomac for over a year. PD Nov 2020 and no movement at all

when my notice came that they transfered my case from Nebraska (10 months there) to Missouri , it said "transferred for faster processing "   (still took another 6 months)   and that was pre covid in 2020/2011

My case is transferred from Nebraska to California.  The posted timeline in the USCIS website is not able to understand because it is 26 months.  Here in VJ the report is about 210 days for them to adjudicate.

 

11/10/2021 - I130 filed in Nebraska

11/10/2021 - NOA1

11/10/2021 - Actively review

12/01/2021 - K3 applied

12/03/2021 - K3 NOA1

12/10/2021 - EMMA Chat confirms the case is transferred to calif on 11/10/2021

Okay so if the case is transferred from a certain service center to another, then which time duration will apply to that very case? the original service center's or where the case is currently being processed at?

You have to follow the timeline where it is CURRENTLY in processing

some offices (like Missouri where mine was transferred to did not ordinarily do CR1 )and had no timeline for it

Yes...  MO is called National Business Center.  The USCIS website does not include.  But in the 'immigration timelines" here in this site, you can filter by cases moved NBC and check how the trend is
