USCIS has (based on my data) always "forgotten" about 10s of cases per month.   Why? unknown.  Some say lack of organization.

 

Some of these finally notice and do a case inquiry (don't Expedite... but rather inquiry) when it is permitted.   about half are approved then,  and 1/2 enter an RFE.

 

Stats also show that more then 50% of RFEs are never responded to.  and of those that did,  some are not past the "received" progress seem to get "lost in the shuffle" as well.   Again, Inquiry is your friend, Expedite is not.

 

if still waiting, hope your ticket gets rung or watch closely and submit a case inquiry the day you are first "permitted".

Same. I wonder if  those are concurrent I-129F and I-130 filers (so those who filed for spouse). In that case maybe USCIS just processes the I-130 and don’t bother to look at the I-129F petition?
