My I-131 just got approved! I am so so so happy.

I called USCIS yesterday, requesting for an expedite. I didn't even send in any documents or anything, I just explained my situation over the phone and boom! Today it suddenly got approved. See my timeline below:

11/14 Mailed AOS Package (I-485, I-130, I-765 & I-131)

11/19 NOA received for each application

12/04 Biometrics appt scheduled

12/11 Request for initial evidence for I-485

12/28 Biometrics appt completed + evidence received

12/31 Status changed to actively reviewing for I-485 & I-765

05/17 Card is being produced (I-765)

05/20 Card is produced (I-765)

05/23 Received my SSN in the mail

05/26 Received my EAD in the mail

06/13 Called USCIS to expedite I-131

06/14 I-131 Approved

CONGRATS !!!

I also called to expedite yesterday (131), so far my case status changed from 'case received' to 'case was updated to show fingerprints were taken' so I am a bit stressed, let's see if they ask me for any evidence.

so happy that something is at least happening.

Can you please tell me the best way to talk to the rep? I could not bypass the automatic machine last time I called. Thanks.

Hope this information helps somebody in need.

Also if anyone that has been processed recently at Newark can share their timeline and when to expect the next update would mean a lot!

My EAD just got approved yesterday thru Expedite with congressman.

Thanks everyone for keeping posting.

Had my interview yesterday it went well after waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes we were called, sworn in and most if not all the eligibility questions where asked after a few random verification questions from my I485 form. We had an approve I130 so issues there.  She then told me she was gonna recommend for approval and I should get my GC in two weeks. That's 7 months and 15 days ( November 8, 2021 - June 23, 2022) for NYC Federal Plaza. I will not complain. I will encourage everyone to be patient you day is sooner than you think. I am so happy this leg of the journey is completed. Best to all!!!!

Hi CADT,,,

Have you got the approval online also for your I-485 ?

Was it Queens, Bronx or Manhattan ? Mine was Manhattan - NYC Federal Plaza. I had my interview on 7th June, my I-130 got approved following day on the 8th June but no update still on my I-485 😢

I did say NYC-Federal Plaza lol!

I got an email this morning that action has been taken.

However I do not see any changes yet will update when I do.

Ok thank you. Sorry if I misunderstood. All interviews for these 3 areas are at Federal Plaza building but on different floors. Anyway, please let me know when you also get the approval online.

Hopefully you will get it very soon!
