Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : October 5, 2021
Embassy Review : Overall, we had a good experience during my fiance's K-1 interview. He arrived about two hours early and brought all of the necessary documents. We were asked for chat history from when we first met at the conclusion of his interview. He was given a 221G and his passport was kept at the consulate. So, we gathered up the requested information and sent it via Aramex the next day as well as emailed to the Consulate. We did not have many text messages from early conversations but we did have some video chats screen shots and other forms of messages so we sent what we had. Once the package was received the status changed to admin processing. The day after the visa was issued. Passport was collected from Aramex five days after.

Main advice I can give is to discuss a variety of topics with your fiance such as details about your day or job. He was asked a lot about my day and what I do at work. So make sure you learn a lot about one another in the days leading up to the interview as no questions are off limits.

Overall our process wasn't bad. It took about a year from initial filing to the interview. You just need to pay attention to detail and provide good evidence and don't be afraid to explain any questions you are asked.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
