My issue is that we don’t qualify for 3 year Gc and then citizenship application. So it bothers me a lot more than I would admit.

Looks like California avg. processing time has gone by up half a month. This isn't even a presidential election year, I wonder why the processing times are changing (not going down)

AFAIK the processing timelines shown on USCIS are based on historical data. Anecdotally, we could already tell processing had slowed down (SRC is a good example - many of us would have already had approvals if they were really getting 80% of cases done in a year or less - now it says 13 months).

So really, the processing times could be slowly getting better. But we won't see that reflected on USCIS until it's been faster for ~6+ months.

Hi everyone ~ I look at the spreadsheet occasionally and am beginning to worry why we haven't received our biometrics waiver/status update? We lived in Tennessee but moved to Texas in June 2022, has anyone else not received their biometrics status update yet? 😣

It looks like WACers from Oct 2021 are getting approved.

Fingers crossed we'll start seeing approvals for Nov 2021 about the same time next month!

There have been 5 or so approvals from WAC for Oct 2021 thread.  We should hopefully be seeing some approvals in this thread very soon.

Some thoughts on the timeline and future actions. My citizenship window opens on Nov 22d. I was wondering if it makes sense to wait let's say till mid December before filing N-400 since it looks like it's taking WAC 12 months to approve cases? In case if we don't hear anything in November. I know that about a week before Christmas USCIS slows down again due to holidays/PTOs. I'm not sure if it's a good strategy or not, maybe you guys can give me some input? We're so painfully close so I really want to receive my green card before filing N-400 (in SF everything's taking forever so I'm afraid of getting into a situation where my extension letter expires and then I have to stress about getting extra paperwork to not lose my job). Anyway, thoughts?

With WAC current timings I think it makes sense to give I-751 12-13 months before filing N-400.  By filing N-400 they may move your I-751 case to a local office for a combo interview which will definitely slow down the I-751.  The same probably applies for SRC.

@Orientalelf what does your case status say?

I've never had luck seeing updates on the website, it merely says case was received. I've gotten my NOA1 already, but no sign of the biometrics waiver?

has anyone started their N400 process? My ROC is currently being process at LIN and it seems that they are currently processing May 2021 applications. would it be better to wait till my ROC is approved or should I just go ahead and do it?
